Our Future?

I recently returned from vacationing with my family in California, during which I felt at turmoil with the state of our citizens, society, and our government. With what many call one of the most important elections in our history I thought I would put together a blog post to share my feelings...

While there we toured the Regan Library... Wow what a collection of history is to be found there. I was also surprised at the range of feelings I experienced.

We (Free people) have been at war for a long time... Vladamir Lenin declared...

"It does not matter if Three Fourths
                     of the human race Perished,
                                               the important thing is that
            the Remaining one-quarter Be Communist."

  Nikita Khrushchev taught and declared
"We will spoon feed you Socialism... Until you are a Communist."

This statement should make us all WAKE UP! We (free people) need to fight these kind of beliefs and policies.

While at the Reagan Library I found myself in the hall of dictators...

I felt that one portrait was missing...

I am truly disturbed at the direction of our government...
Things such as:
-Obama care, (government seizure of health care).

-Free speech rights, the white house is seeking to arrest and prosecute the (misguided)
individual who made some video (that no one has even seen) about Mohamed.

-The freedom to defend ones self, and the right to bear arms. Under Obama's staff and appointments, 4 out of the nine Supreme Court justices believe that Americans do not have the right to defend themselves.

-Lies and Deceit, the White House staff originally stated that the attack in Benghazi was a
result of some video... Then later said it was a coordinated terrorist attack... The truth is that the President knew all along this was a coordinated terrorist attack...
Retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Saturday he has sources saying President Barack Obama was in the room at the White House watching the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya unfold. Two unarmed U.S. drones were dispatched to the consulate and recorded the final hours of the attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. “This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” “According to my sources, yes, [Obama] was one of those in the White House Situation Room in real-time watching this.”
I also recently heard an interview with the father of one of those Americans killed, a US Navy Seal,
that they were denied assistance and left to die... I did not think America did that!
And what was even more insulting is that US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton told this deceased  Navy Seals father... "We are going to arrest and prosecute the guy who made the video."
Our President and his staff just don't get it.

I am sickened when I see a man so full of himself that he has school children recite I Pledge Allegiance To Obama... or places his own likeness on a flag. How can we support a president like that?

To me the flag is a symbol of our freedom,
our liberty, and our honor.

I am deeply grateful for all the men and women
that have sacrificed for our nation. Every time I look on our flag I am filled with a sense of pride and reverence.

"I know in my heart that man is good, that what is right will always eventually triumph and there is purpose and worth to each and every life."  Ronald Regan

I would not tell anyone how or who to vote for... But I will say that I believe Mitt Romney to be a good man. I myself happen to be of the same faith as Romney and I know of the good Christan teachings and beliefs. I will be honored to vote in this election!

Please like this, forward this, share this etc.

Let Freedom Ring

I am proud to be an American... I love my country... Remember the sacrifices that our founding fathers made. Remember all the fighting men & women that have served in the armed forces, and especially those that have been lost.

Where ever you call home... Whatever City... Whatever State... We are all free to live as we choose, but with this freedom comes great responsibility. I am embarrassed of many of my fellow citizens and the choices they have made in there lives. How to live, how to conduct themselves, even common courtesy is becoming nonexistent in our society. I plead with any who read this... (This is a call to ARMS so to speak). It's time to take a stand! If you believe in our society. Be a better person. Create a safe place to raise your family. Stand up for your beliefs, and make sure those around you hear and see your example.

HDR Family Project

I love Photoshop... I use CS5, and Lightroom 3 for my editing.
80-90% of the time Lightroom has everything I need to quickly adjust
and edit photos, but this project required a little more.

I captured three images, one with good exposure, one 3 stops under
exposed, and one 3 stops over exposed.

Normal exposure.

3 stops under exposed.
And last one 3 stops over exposed.

These are then combined into an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph in Photoshop.

The next step was to place and blend all the subjects into the HDR image.

After a little work you can get the image to look seamless.
OK maybe a lot of work... About 2 hours later...

                                                               BudaBing BudaBoom...

I ended up using about 12 different layers to create this image.

The final Photo looked pretty good what do you think?

Blacksmith, Micheal Mendenhal

I attended the Freedom Fest at Sera park yesterday and met Micheal, wow what an artist...
I have always wanted a flint striker, (Used to make sparks when stuck against flint). Using primitive tools from the around the 18th century he made one in about 30 minutes.
