HDR Family Project

I love Photoshop... I use CS5, and Lightroom 3 for my editing.
80-90% of the time Lightroom has everything I need to quickly adjust
and edit photos, but this project required a little more.

I captured three images, one with good exposure, one 3 stops under
exposed, and one 3 stops over exposed.

Normal exposure.

3 stops under exposed.
And last one 3 stops over exposed.

These are then combined into an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph in Photoshop.

The next step was to place and blend all the subjects into the HDR image.

After a little work you can get the image to look seamless.
OK maybe a lot of work... About 2 hours later...

                                                               BudaBing BudaBoom...

I ended up using about 12 different layers to create this image.

The final Photo looked pretty good what do you think?
